Maxsus looked at Riev as he turned and looked back at him, he analyzed the man noticing the way he carried himself was cautious yet friendly. He slid a hand into his pocket and pulled out a card with 5,000 credits and handed it to Riev. "Take care of yourself out there, I don't know what they were after from you but they won't bother you again"

Stopping, he witnessed the asari following the turian and human. What were they doing? Did they all know each other? It'd certainly make hiring them all a lot easier.

Farahin watched furious from behind a building a few meters away as the turian gave Riev the credits. He is not getting off that easy she thought to herself. Biotic energy rushed through her body to her fingertips. Glowing blue lightning surrounded her arm, formed a ball of energy, and she threw it towards Riev to knock him down.

Upon having 5000 free credits practically forced upon him, Riev didn't think twice about taking them. The Turian didn't know him and that was probably for the best. He put the card in his pocket and was about ask the philanthropist's name when a sudden force hit him in the side, throwing him several feet before he crashed into a nearby vending machine.

Farahin sprinted the few meters and grabbed a handful of his shirt, dragging him and thrusting him against the adjacent wall. She held up her free hand, still aglow with energy, threatening him, "Tell me when you're going to pay back me and my friends!" she growled at him, "some of us have lives, you know!"

Even after suffering a possible concussion Riev could recognize the voice and distinct features of the Afterlife dancer who now held his life in her hands, literally. Choosing his words carefully Riev began speaking. "Look, I don't have your money right now. I'm gonna need some time. Plus killing me isn't gonna get you your money back. So how 'bout this? You put me down and we can talk about this in a more....neutral environment." Riev hoped this would be enough to keep the hot headed Asari from doing anything too irrational.

Farahin pulled him inches from her face and squinted her eyes, "What's your game, Lockwood? You think we're some kind of joke?"

Pulling out his M-6, Tharek moved up behind the scene. "Nobody is doing anything just yet," he said, aiming between the trio, so if any of them made a move, he'd be ready. "You," he said, nodding towards the Turian. "What's your name?"
